[Snow put on one of her nicest dresses and had gotten a bouquet filled with violets, pansies of all the colors she could manage to find, and rosemary in her arm. She gently pats her hair, and runs a hand down her skirt. Faramund and the other animals are lingering a bit back, allowing Snow her space.

She takes a deep breath and then knocks on Rose's door.

It was time to ask Rose to enter a courtship. She kept gently shifting the bouquet from arm to arm, trying to hide her nervousness. She had never done something like this before, even the usually unflappable Snow White was nervous.]

[Rose is glad that it's getting closer to fall. it's not that she doesn't like summer, far from it, but she always loved watching the leaves change and is looking forward to seeing it here.

[She smiled as she held out the bouquet to Rose.] I did say that a bouquet that you designed is the perfect bouquet for me to give. [She giggled as she blushed, pressing a hand to her cheek as she tried to calm herself down, bowing her head. She hoped this would go well. She took a deep breath and looked up at Rose from hooded eyes before lifting her head.]

Rose, will you enter- [Her voice started out strong and then became incredibly soft, suddenly deeply scared of rejection but she's already started, she has to see it through.] a-a courtship with me?

[She swallows, her throat feeling quite tight all of a sudden; as if she had bitten into the apple again, her breath stills in her chest as she waits.]

[Jason's Omen Esfir arrives to deliver the gift and waits to make sure Rose opens it. Inside she'll find some cookies baked in the shapes of roses and snowflakes. There is also a bottle of sbiten with a bow around it.

[sometime at the end of december have a package sent from viktor. inside is a little metal disc the size of someone's hand, a coldblood gem attached to the middle and wiring coming out of that central point in very rune-like shapes. there's a switch at the side, and a note that says:

Miss Dawson,

I don't celebrate any winter holidays myself so I'm afraid I don't know the customs. Regardless I hope you will find this gift useful, it is something of a portable heater and cooler, using the properties of the coldblood gem in the center.

If you flip the switch all the way to the right it will warm the area around it, about the size of a small room. If you flip it fully to the left it will cool the area, and the switch in the middle turns it off. I hope it will be useful in some way against the sort of nonsense that happens here.

Gift Delivery - December 25th

[Unlike all her friends to whom Snow delivered a handmade pie, she wanted something SPECIAL for Rose. Not that her pies weren't special, certainly, they were. But rather, she wanted Rose's gift to be unlike something anyone else had gotten from Snow. Rose had come from wealth, and unbeknownst to Snow was the Heart of the Ocean that Rose's fiance had once tried to use to buy her affection. If she had known, she might have chosen a different design. As it was, she didn't, so being delivered to Rose's door by one of Snow's many bird friends is a heart-shaped music box that plays Clair de Lune when wound up. And inside? A red heart pendant that as soon as Rose touches will start to glow a soft red light.

Attached is a card with Snow's elegant handwriting.]

To my beloved Rose,

I thought and thought and thought about what to give you, and then I realized it was such a very obvious answer.

You have been a guiding light, a soft, gentle light that is always there, never wavering never flickering. So I thought I shall do the same. So long as you hold this pendant, it shall shine, just like you. And if you should be thinking of me while you wear it, it shall shine brighter if you head in my direction.

This way, I hope to be an unwavering guiding light for you as well should ever you feel lost. The music box song is so pretty, it made me think of you as well.

Gift Delivery - December 25th

[This year, Maul had decided to behave himself when it came to giving gifts, unlike in years past where he broke into people's houses rather like Santa himself did. All gifts are left on the porch or front step of the recipient's home for them to find in the morning.

Rose had been kind to Maul and so he wanted to leave her a token of his appreciation, so he gave her a warm cloak for the winter, hoping he'd gotten the right size. Accompanying it was a note in blocky handwriting wishing her a Merry Christmas signed from Darth Maul.]

January 1st - Action

This time, dressed in a much warmer gown for the winter with a special cake in hand and lastly, a hair pin made of cloth and dried flowers was wrapped up in a little box and carried by an owl companion.

She knocked on Rose's door and was humming a merry tune as she waited, quite content in the cold.

Rose is delighted to open the door to Snow, ushering her inside as Melody sang a happy song and Muffin swooped down to headbutt her gently, mewing happily at her.

"You look stunning, you really do. And, what's this," she said delightedly as she looked at the cake, violets winding their way around and making the cake almost too beautiful to eat.

"But, come on in, it's bitter cold out there. I have a fire going in the fireplace and I can warm up some cider for us to drink. And, happy new year!"
